A Noisy Week in Logistics

Key industry shifts, new partnerships, and where returns fit into 2026 plans.

A Busy Week, No Matter How You Looked at It

The past week was chaotic from just about every angle.

Massive winter storms disrupted both business operations and personal routines across the country. TikTok continued to “Amazonify” their model for sellers. Quiet and Veyer announced they’re moving out of the ecommerce fulfillment space and shutting down operations.

And on our end, Slotted officially announced our partnership with StartUp CPG, aimed at bringing more clarity and structure to the RFP evaluation process for brands and providers alike.

📦 TikTok tightens control over fulfillment.

TikTok is requiring sellers to fulfill orders exclusively through TikTok Shop Logistics services (FBT or CBT), with Seller Shipping set to be discontinued. There are plenty of takes circulating on LinkedIn, but this breakdown from one of the more reliable voices does a good job of laying out what’s changing and why.

📦 Retailers bet on third-party fulfillment but not everyone cashed their bet slip.

AEO is shutting down Quiet and Atlas Group (Office Depot acquirer) closed Veyer to standalone customers. Retailer Supply chain as a Service built for optimistic, post-pandemic ecommerce growth is expensive to run and the fulfillment market is crowded.

The takeaway for the broader market: Focused but nimble solutions are a winning combination for servicing brands in 2026 and beyond.

Partner Highlight: Two Boxes Expands into Europe

Two Boxes is heading into 2026 with a lot of momentum.

The team is expanding into the EU and UK and recently brought on Sammy Schumacher as European GM to lead that growth. It’s a meaningful step as more brands look to bring structure and visibility to returns operations outside North America.

On the product side, Two Boxes recently released Photo Gallery, a new feature that allows 3PLs and retailers to view every return as it’s processed. For teams managing returns at scale, that level of visibility can make a real difference, both operationally and when it comes to resolving issues quickly.

You’ll also be able to connect with the Two Boxes team in person this quarter. They’ll be attending Manifest, Shoptalk, and The Delivery Conference (UK).

If returns are a growing part of your operation in 2026, the Two Boxes solution and team can help you serve that growth without the growing pains.
